No more top heavy cars teetering over while you're trying to precisely add weight! We've been using this assembly tray for years to assemble our winning Fully-Built Cars, including the ultra-fast PRO Line Fully-Built Cars, and now we're sharing it with you so you can make a fast, winning Pinewood Derby car yourself!
Our new Assembly Station has 3 perfectly crafted wheel holes, allowing for a standard wheelbase or extended wheelbase assembly. Once you've put the first two wheels and axles into your car body, flip the car over and place the wheels in the custom-engineered wheel holes. The tray will hold your car upright without putting pressure on the axles you've just inserted! The Assembly Station is a fraction of an inch thicker than a Pinewood Derby wheel and accounts for the ideal wheel spacing. Plus, it will hold your car upgright while you drill weight holes - just flip it over and you can use it as a sacrificial backer board to prevent drilling through your car and into your table.
