Pinewood Derby Tip of the Day

If you will be racing on a rough or uneven track, keep the center of mass of your car as low as possible to increase your car's stability. You can lower the center of mass by placing the weights as low as possible on the car.

Pinewood Derby car during construction, it can usually be glued back. Then use masking tape to hold the chip in place until the glue dries. If it is a small chip use wood putty to make the repair.
